This project was designed and implemented very well. It leverages all aspects of Wikinomics using Web 2.0 and New Media tools and communication techniques.

Impact: 12 million global participants
Percent change in business? I'll have to do some research on this one.

iTunes, Miro

iTunes has the majority of the global market for selling digital music and acting as an RSS aggregator. It is free, easy to use, works well with it's best in class portable media devices like the iPod, Touch and iPhone. Apple's brand is sexy and trusted. The downside of iTunes is that it will only work with files formatted to Apple's liking.

That's were Miro comes in. Miro is much like iTunes except it does not allow you to purchase anything it is strictly a free content collection and organization tool. Miro will download content from YouTube, Google, Veoh and a host of other broadband content providers. It will delete files from your hard drive after a set amount of days.
